My university

Kazakh National University (KazNU in contracted form) is one of the best university in Kazakhstan that is also well positioned in a world according to the global ranking. Situated in a beautiful place of Almaty city near Essentai river, KazNU has many things to offer including possibility for students to choose their favorite specialty out of nearly 200 options that are evenly distributed among 16 faculties, a pretty large library that contains more than 2 million books both digitally and ink-written, a huge sport arena and a student center that provides educational, medical, financial, cultural and entertainment services. You can also find 14 comfortable dormitories that meet all modern requirements. Over 25 thousand students learn and over 2 thousand professors work here.

As already mentioned before, university possess a picturesque area in which people can enjoy silence and tranquility of surroundings. Moreover near the palace of students you can see many fountains with the biggest one located between the palace and administration building. In addition there are many different kinds of trees and lively flowers planted around facilities.

Overall KazNU is great place for both studying and living nearby. I also chose to graduate here because I feel that it will help me achieving my goals. I am currently studying at the faculty of chemistry. There are many great professors and lecturers working at this faculty and I can learn different subjects and gain knowledge in dozens of fields.

Sometimes various events are held here on which every student can participate and have a chance to shine.
